Join
the
Belton Center for the Arts
for a “personal tour
on canvas” of the
Augusta National, Home of the Masters. We are excited to announce that
Belton native,
Wayland Moore, has
chosen to exhibit his commissioned paintings of all 18 Holes plus the
clubhouse of the Augusta National at his hometown Arts Center. These large
oil paintings have never before been exhibited in a single show, and the
Belton Center for the Arts is honored to host this exhibition.
A
very limited number of Signed and Numbered Prints of Hole #10 Camellia will
be available for sale. The BCA is working with Mr. Moore on the possibility
of a commemorative poster and note card sets. One original of hole #10 which
is not part of the complete collection will also be for sale.
Mr.
Moore, highly regarded as a commercial artist, is a graduate of the Ringling
School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. His commissions and
assignments have brought him international
acclaim
as an artist who has captured the excitement of events such as the Summer
Olympics, America’s Cup, U.S. Open, the Masters, P.G.A., U.S. Olympic Hall
of Fame, Maccabiah Games of Israel, Davis Cup and many other international
events.
The
Belton Center for the Arts is a community arts center striving to provide
the greater Belton area with quality cultural programs and educational
opportunities in the creative arts. The opportunity to showcase an
accomplished artist who just happens to be a Belton native is just the kind
of experience we want to share with our community.
