| 1. | Formed a board of directors and devised written job descriptions | ||
| 2. | Created a Mission Statement, Constitution and Bylaws, Operational Management Plan with Long Range Goals and Objectives | ||
| 3. | Secured non-profit, 501 (c) 3, status, SC State Incorporation, and SC Charitable Registration | ||
| 4. | Obtained ownership to the historic downtown building that will become the Arts Center | ||
| 5. | Hired an architect who designed renovation plans and completed engineering studies and completed Phase I renovations including: installation of air conditioning, repaired roof, exterior 1970's canopy removed, created hanging gallery wall space and prepared wall surfaces, installed handicap restroom | ||
| 6. | Applied for and received Anderson County Accommodations Tax funds and SC Arts Commission Planning Grant and a Quarterly Grant | ||
| 7. | Hosted programs including: | ||
| a. | Standpipe Festival Juried Arts Show | Sept. & Oct. 1999 - 2002 | |
| b. | Tour of Homes - fund-raiser supported by Belton Partnership for the Arts Center. Included live entertainment, buggy rides, and a reception | December 1999 | |
