Projects Completed Successfully

1.	Formed a board of directors and devised written job descriptions
2.	Created a Mission Statement, Constitution and Bylaws, Operational Management Plan with Long Range Goals and Objectives
3.	Secured non-profit, 501 (c) 3, status, SC State Incorporation, and SC Charitable Registration
4.	Obtained ownership to the historic downtown building that will become the Arts Center
5.	Hired an architect who designed renovation plans and completed engineering studies and completed Phase I renovations including: installation of air conditioning, repaired roof, exterior 1970's canopy removed, created hanging gallery wall space and prepared wall surfaces, installed handicap restroom
6.	Applied for and received Anderson County Accommodations Tax funds and SC Arts Commission Planning Grant and a Quarterly Grant
7.	Hosted programs including:
	a.	Standpipe Festival Juried Arts Show	Sept. & Oct. 1999 - 2002
	b.	Tour of Homes - fund-raiser supported by Belton Partnership for the Arts Center. Included live entertainment, buggy rides, and a reception	December 1999
	c.	SC Watercolor Society Traveling Art Exhibition Opening Reception & month long exhibit open to the public, free of charge	February 2000, May 2002, Jan. 11 - Feb. 1, 2003
	d.	Adult Art Workshops	Feb. & March 2000, June 2001
	e.	Youth Art Class	December 2000
	f.	Youth Art Month	March 2001
